MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia believes that "the British proposals on Iraq are not constructive and do not resolve the main problem - the prevention of the use of force against Baghdad," Deputy Foreign Minister Yuri Fedotov told Interfax on Friday.
He said consultations at the UN Security Council on the draft resolution on Iraq may continue on Friday.
"At the same time the opinion is being expressed that in such circumstances the draft resolution may be dropped from vote," Fedotov said.
