One of two missing helicopters discovered in Chechnya

MOSCOW. March 25 (Interfax-AVN) - One of the two MI-24 Hind helicopters that went missing in Chechnya on March 20 has been found, Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky, chief of the Air Force press service, told Interfax.

"The MI-24 helicopter was discovered from the air on Tuesday morning. There has been no word about the fate of its crew yet," Drobyshevsky said.

He said that "the crash scene is in the mountains, about 2,000 meters above sea level. The site is difficult to access."
