SEOUL. April 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Moscow and Seoul have a common position on North Korea, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov has said.
"I do not doubt that, during negotiations in Seoul, Russia and South Korea will speak in favor of either bilateral negotiations between North Korea and the U.S., or multilateral closed consultations on ways to settle the Korea crisis," Ivanov told the press in Seoul on Thursday.
"A solution to the problem of the DPRK envisions that Pyongyang would rejoin all international nonproliferation regimes and place its facilities under IAEA control, receiving in exchange guarantees of its security, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-aggression," Ivanov said.
