MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian government has decided to approve the agreement on the legal status of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the charter of the Organization and to forward them to the Russian president for further submission to the State Duma lower house of parliament for ratification.
A resolution to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov on Friday, the government information department has reported.
The agreement on the legal status of the Organization and the charter were signed by the member nations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Chisinau in October 2002.
