Several additional posts established on Russian-Georgian border

STAVROPOL. April 21 (Interfax-AVN) - Several additional posts have been established on various sections of the Russian- Georgian border.

"The measure will help increase the density of border protection and ensure reliable control over passes where attempts at illegal crossing of the state border are not ruled out already in the near future," the press service of the North Caucasus regional border guard department told Interfax-Military News Agency on Monday.

According to the department, servicemen of the Khangikhoi unit of the Argun border guard detachment found a guerilla cache with several portable antitank grenade launcher rounds and over 400 small-arms cartridges on Sunday.

Servicemen of the department have found and destroyed over 60 shells and mines, some 20 hand grenades and over 22,000 cartridges on the Russian-Georgian border this year.
