TBILISI. April 25 (Interfax-AVN) - A delegation of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will arrive for a four-day official visit to Georgia on Saturday.
"The delegation will visit the Pankisi gorge on April 27," a source in the Georgian parliament told Interfax-Military News Agency on Friday.
The delegation's members are planning to meet with President Eduard Shevardnadze, Parliament Speaker Nino Burdzhanadze, National Security Council Secretary Tedo Dzhaparidze, Defense Minister David Tevzadze, Interior Minister Koba Narchemashivili and Foreign Minister Irakly Menagarishvili, the source said.
The delegation will also visit the stationing area of the Commandos battalion that is being trained in the framework of the U.S. Train and Equip program worth USD64m.
