GROZNY. May 6 (Interfax-South) - The Chechen administration has set up a fund to provide rewards for information leading to the capture of members of rebel group, the republic's government told Interfax on Tuesday.
Rewards have also been pledged for reports that help prevent terrorist attacks in the republic and detain rebel leaders.
Chechen businessmen have been invited to contribute to the fund.
At the same time, a special service officer, who refused to be identified, expressed doubts over the fund's efficiency, voicing fears about possible financial misappropriations.
