GROZNY. May 12 (Interfax-AVN) - Two federal servicemen were killed in a terrorist attack in Chechnya's Grozny district.
The district's interior department told Interfax that a radio-controlled landmine went off as a federal convoy en route from Grozny to Shatoi passed near the village of Gikalovo.
The explosive device was planted on a tree at an altitude of four meters.
Traffic along the highway has been suspended. Search efforts for the perpetrators of the terrorist attack are in progress.
