GROZNY. May 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The main version being accepted for the explosion during a religious festival in the Gudermes district on Wednesday is a terrorist act aimed to murder Akhmad Kadyrov, head of the Chechen interim administration, and destabilize Chechnya, Prosecutor of Chechnya Vladimir Kravchenko told Interfax.
"The suicide bombers were apparently heading towards Kadyrov but the guards stopped them and the bomb went off earlier than planned. The administration head was not hurt," the prosecutor remarked.
