BREST. June 4 (Interfax-West) - Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko has not ruled out that the United States and its allies may threaten military action against Iran and North Korea.
"But, at the same time, they should remember that Iran and particularly North Korea are not like Iraq at all," Lukashenko told journalists in Brest on Wednesday.
"Iran is a powerful and rich nation, and it has not yet been established what kind of weapons it has," the president said. He added that "North Korea is a nuclear nation, and that is why it is very difficult and very dangerous to predict any scenarios."
"If anyone is considering any such scenarios, he should cool down and return to reality," he said.
