MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday met with Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov.
Ustinov told the president about measures taken to investigate the explosion that destroyed a bus carrying servicemen in Mozdok, North Ossetia, on Thursday.
"The explosion, which occurred at 7:30 a.m. Moscow time (0330 GMT), killed 16 people. Some people have been injured. The bus was carrying officers, warrant officers, and also civilians. There is information that the blast was conducted by a female suicide bomber. Investigators and Federal Security Service officials are working at the scene," he said.
Ustinov said that he will work with the Federal Security Service to find those who ordered the terrorist attack and determine the place where suicide bombers are trained.
"There were no suicide bombers in Chechnya before. It has come to us from other countries. We will locate their training centers and determine the funding sources," Ustinov said.
