Nurses of Ukrainian military medical establishments becoming servicepersons

KYIV. June 5 (Interfax-AVN) - Nurses of Ukrainian military medical establishments are becoming servicepersons according to the program of transition to professional manning of the country's armed forces.

"As many as 243 nurses of the 411th central military clinical hospital of the Southern operative command will become professional servicepersons soon," an official of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry press-service told Interfax-Military News Agency on Thursday.

"The first 28 reserve medics have been sworn in, and 73 more employees of this medical institution will put on the military uniform this year," he said.

The official quoted chief of the 411th central military hospital Colonel Vitaliy Kulibaba as saying that the nurse's allowance would be doubled after they become servicepersons.
