MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax-AVN) - President Vladimir Putin will hold his annual news conference in Moscow on Friday. It will be the third event of its kind.
In 2001 a similar news conference involved over 400 reporters and the president answered 22 questions.
In 2002 over 600 journalists were accredited and almost 40 questions were answered.
This year the news conference has drawn over 700 reporters from all federal and regional Russian media outlets as well as foreign journalists from 30 countries. Over 100 TV reporters and over 30 photographers have been accredited.
Several Russian TV channels will broadcast the news conference.
