Russian peacekeepers returning from Kosovo

MOSCOW. June 25 (Interfax-AVN) - The first train carrying Russian peacekeepers and weaponry from Kosovo has been unloaded at the Nara Station in the Moscow region. "The first train carrying the troops, arms and vehicles of a Russian peacekeeping unit arrived at Nara on schedule and has been unloaded," Land Forces spokesman Colonel Yakov Firsov told Interfax-Military News Agency on Wednesday.

The withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers began on June 5 and is to be wrapped up by August 1. Russian peacekeepers have already been pulled out of Bosnia.
