ST.PETERSBURG. July 9 (Interfax-AVN) - General B.B. Bell, Commander, U.S. Army Europe, is arriving in St. Petersburg on Wednesday, Colonel Yuri Klenov, chief of the Leningrad military district's press service and aide to the district commander for public relations, told Interfax-Military News Agency.
"The visit of the U.S. delegation led by General Bell will take place in the framework of the international military cooperation program. It will feature a meeting between Leningrad military district commander Army General Valentin Bobryshev and members of the U.S. military delegation," Klenov said.
Bobryshev will receive the U.S. delegation in the district headquarters at the Palace Square in St. Petersburg. In addition, the U.S. military will go sightseeing in the city.
According to Klenov, the delegation will leave for Germany on board a special USAF plane on Friday.
