List of international arms shows with Russian participation approved

MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian government has approved the list of foreign-based international arms shows with Russian participation involving military-use products for 2004.

The government information department sent to Interfax- Military News Agency on Friday a statement reading that Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov has signed an order to that effect.

The list includes the following shows: Defexpo India 2004 (New Delhi, India, February 4-7) - land forces and naval; Asian Aerospace 2004 (Singapore, February 24-29) - aerospace; Fidae 2004 (Santiago, Chile, March 29-April 4) - aerospace; DSA 2004 (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, April 12-15) - comprehensive; ILA 2004 (Berlin, Germany, May 10-17) - aerospace; HEMUS 2004 (Plovdiv, Bulgaria, May 26-29) - comprehensive; Eurosatory 2004 (Paris, France, June 14-18) - land forces and air defense; China Police 2004 (Beijing, China, June 23-26) - law enforcement; Farnborough International Air Show 2004 (Farnborough, UK, July 19- 25); Africa Aerospace and Defense 2004 (Pretoria, South Africa, September) - comprehensive international show and conference; Aviasvit-XXI International Air Show (Kyiv, Ukraine, September); Defendory International 2004 (Athens, Greece, October 5-9) - comprehensive; Euronaval 2004 (Paris, France, October) - naval; Milipol Qatar 2004 (Doha, Qatar, October) - SOp; Airshow China 2004 International Air Show (Zhuhai, China, November).

The governmental order reads that all the expenses pertaining to exhibiting Russian military-use products shall be paid by the organizations concerned without allocation of the state budget money.

The Russian Committee for Military-Technical Cooperation with Foreign Countries has been assigned to submit the similar list of Russian-based exhibitions within two months.
