RYBINSK, Yaroslavl Region. July 25 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's Saturn Research and Production Association and Japan's Sumitomo Corporation signed cooperation agreement to 2010-1015 and a USD60m financing program to upgrade Saturn in 2003-2008, Saturn's press service told Interfax-Military News Agency on Friday.
The agreements were signed during the visit of a Saturn delegation to Japan, which was headed by the association's general director Yuri Lastochkin and board chairman, Federation Council member Viktor Glukhikh.
The documents envisage joint projects in electrical engineering; organization of hi-tech equipment exports from Japan, and the supply of electrical engineering materials, training for Saturn specialists and joint long-term innovation projects in Russia.
