GROZNY. July 29 (Interfax-South) - Two servicemen sustained shrapnel wounds when a landmine went off in Grozny's Leninsky district.
A Chechen Interior Ministry source told Interfax that the explosion occurred 50 meters from the junction of Sheripov and Dzerzhinsky Streets.
The injured soldiers, Lieutenant Alexander Antyufeyev and Private Dmitry Kuleshov, have been hospitalized.
Teams of investigators are working at the scene. The search for the people involved in planting the landmine is in progress.
