MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov has accepted Moscow's prosecutor Mikhail Avdyukov's resignation. This information was confirmed by Nataliya Vihnyakova, the deputy head of the information and public relations division in the Prosecutor General's Office, who spoke with Interfax on Thursday.

Avdyukov has been appointed Ustinov's adviser and will start working in his new capacity on August 4, she said.

Senior Prosecutor General's Office staff will discuss the findings of the comprehensive audit of the Moscow prosecutions service on Thursday, Vishnyakova said.
