Prosecutor general gives stern warning to ex-Moscow prosecutor

MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax-AVN) - Moscow's former prosecutor Mikhail Avdyukov has received a stern warning from the prosecutor general.

The warning was announced at a meeting of senior officials at the Russian Prosecutor General's Office following checks on the work of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office, Nataliya Vishnyakova, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office, has told Interfax.

Moscow's First Deputy Prosecutor Yuri Sinelshikov was dismissed "for improper performance of his duties and failure to improve control over preliminary investigations by district prosecutor's offices."
