KHABAROVSK. Aug 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The Military Prosecutor's Office of the Far Eastern Military District has started a criminal investigation into Wednesday's fire at an arsenal in a garrison located in the Jewish Autonomous Republic, on charges of violating fire safety regulations.
"Private Lonchakov has been detained as the main suspect in the case," Yuri Nikolsky, prosecutor of the Far Eastern Military District, told Interfax on Thursday.
A team of military prosecutors and investigators are conducting all necessary operations, he said.
