ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow Region. Aug 21 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's leading aircraft builder Sukhoi, the Rosoboronexport state owned arms trader, and the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company (EADS) signed an agreement on cooperation development in upgrade, operational development and servicing of aircraft on Thursday, a Sukhoi spokesman told Interfax-Military News Agency.
Specific areas of cooperation will be determined by joint working group that will submit its proposals in autumn this year, the spokesman told Interfax-Military News Agency at the MAKS 2003 international air show that is underway in Zhukovsky.
"The agreements are based on the memorandum on intentions that was concluded by Sukhoi, Rosoboronexport, EADS and the MBDA missile systems corporation at the Le Bourget air show in June 2003," he said.
