Russia's Irkut, Kaskol sign cooperation agreement

ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow Region. Aug 22 (Interfax-AVN) - The Irkut corporation and Kaskol group of companies signed a cooperation agreement at the MAKS 2003 international air show in Zhukovsky on Friday.

"Chairman of the Kaskol group's board of directors Sergei Nedoroslev and President of the Irkut Corporation Alexei Fyodorov signed a cooperation agreement during the MAKS 2003 air show on Friday," Kaskol's press service reported.

The agreement provides for the creation of a single directorate with the goal to implement a joint program that will ensure the companies' presence of the international market of aircraft components production.

The partnership program has a long term and is open for other enterprises that are interested in developing international ties.

Kaskol is a private industrial group operating in the Russian aerospace industry. It brings together the companies that specialize in making aircraft hardware and developing promising aviation technologies.

Irkut is a leading Russian producer of civilian and military aircraft. It is an integrated holding company that ensures design, production, sale and after-sale servicing of civilian and military aircraft.
