TBILISI. Sept 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Head of the OSCE mission in Georgia Roy Reeve will hold negotiations on Georgian-Ossetian settlement with Alexander Dzasokhov, president of Russia's internal republic of North Ossetia.
"Head of the OSCE mission in Georgia Roy Reeve left for Vladikavkaz on Tuesday to hold talks with South Ossetian President Alexander Dzasokhov. The talks will take place in the republic's capital on September 24," a source in the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Interfax-Military News Agency.
The OSCE is a party that contributes to peaceful settlement of the Georgian-Ossetian armed conflict of 1989-1992. Russia and North Ossetia are also involved in the settlement talks.
Officials of Georgia and South Ossetia are expected to meet in the Netherlands in October under the OSCE auspices.
