NAZRAN. Oct 10 (Interfax-South) - A Grozny resident, Zelimkhan Saayev, who was killed in Ingushetia on Thursday, is reportedly suspected of organizing terrorist attacks on July 5 and July 9 in Moscow, a source in the law enforcement of Ingushetia told Interfax.
One rebel was killed and three detained in an operation organized by Ingush law enforcers in the village of Yandyry in the Nazran district.
"Another detainee, Khasan Suleimanov, who is also a Grozny resident, is believed to have been involved in the terrorist acts in Tushino and on Tverskaya as well," the source said.
A homemade explosive device, about 1.5 kilos of explosives, two Kalashnikov assault rifles, a pistol with ammunition, an anti- tank hand grenade, camouflage and about USD6,000 in cash were confiscated from the rebels.
The four men were discovered in Yandyry at about 1 p.m. Moscow time (0900 GMT) on Thursday. One of them resisted arrest and was killed on the spot and the three others were detained.
