MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax-AVN) - Italian Defense Minister Antonio Martino will arrive in Moscow for an official visit on Saturday, a source in the Russian Defense Ministry told Interfax- Military News Agency.
Martino will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Ivanov to discuss European security, nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and measures against international terrorism, the source said.
The parties will consider the state and prospects of cooperation between the Russian and Italian Defense Ministries, he noted.
During the visit, Martino will also travel to St. Petersburg to meet with the Leningrad military district commander.
The Italian minister will stay in Russia until October 20.
