BISHKEK. Nov 6 (Interfax-AVN) - Kyrgyzstan and India plan to hold joint of army mountain units.
"The experience of India in preparing units and sub-units in a mountainous environment is interesting for Kyrgyzstan, and we plan to hold joint training of military sub-units of the two countries," Kyrgyz Defense Minister Esen Topoyev said after a meeting with his Indian counterpart George Fernandes in Bishkek on Thursday.
He also said that in the near future, the efforts of both countries should be geared toward the common problem of international terrorism.
