MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax-AVN) - The delayed signing of a Russian-French agreement on Soyuz launches from the Kourou spaceport in French Guyana does not endanger the project, Russian Aviation and Space Agency Director Yuri Koptev told Interfax on Thursday.
"The contract's readiness is so high that it will be signed just the same," he said. The delay is merely technical, Koptev said.
It was reported earlier that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Boris Alyoshin was to sign the agreement in France on Thursday. However, the signing was delayed at the proposal of the European Space Agency.
