Finnish military delegation arrives in Russia

ST.PETERSBURG. Nov 17 (Interfax-AVN) - A military delegation from Finland arrived at Vyborg in the Leningrad region on Monday, Colonel Yuri Klenov, press service chief and aide to the commander of the Leningrad military district, told Interfax- Military News Agency.

"The delegation will stay in the Leningrad military district until November 20. During the visit, the Finnish military will study service arrangements in the 138th detached motorized rifle brigade and see the demonstration of the permanent-readiness unit's combat training at a proving range," Klenov said.

The delegation comprising five Finnish officers will be received by the Leningrad military district command. As usual, the guests will have a broad cultural program that includes trips to military history monuments of St. Petersburg and Vyborg, Klenov said.
