MOSCOW. Dec 23 (Interfax-AVN) - According to preliminary results, the Russian Control Systems Agency enterprises have increased special products output by 35.2% in 2003, the Control Systems Agency press-service told Interfax-Military News Agency on Tuesday.
"According to preliminary results, the Russian Control Systems Agency enterprises have increased special products output by 35.2% in 2003. At the same time, enterprises, producing communications system, have increased their output by 1.5-fold, radio industry enterprises by 36.3%, and enterprises, manufacturing electronics, by 15.7%," a press-service official said.
Most special-purpose products are manufactured by radio industry enterprises, which account for 57% of such products, while communications systems and electronic manufacturers account for 24% and 19% of all product manufactured respectively, he noted.
The official said that according to preliminary results the industrial output of the Russian Control Systems Agency enterprises in 2003 will total 123.8% as compared to that of the last year, at the same time output has increased in all industrial branches: communications - 37.4%, radio industry - 17.8%, and electronics - 13.5%.
"Civil products output remains high, with civil products accounting for about 50% of the total output of the Russian Control Systems Agency enterprises," the official said.
According to him, the civil products output of the Russian Control Systems Agency will total 114% as compared to that of last year, with the biggest increase in the communications industry (123%), electronics (112.7%), and radio industry (111%).
Electronics output has increased by almost 21.5%, with a 1.3- fold increase in microelectronics production.
