Pressure inside ISS stable

MOSCOW. Jan 8 (Interfax-AVN) - Air pressure aboard the International Space Station (ISS) has stabilized, a duty officer at the mission control center in Korolyov outside Moscow told Interfax.

"Pressure inside the station is stable. The cosmonauts are continuing to prepare to increase the station's orbit, a maneuver set to be carried out tonight," the officer said.

Meanwhile, experts are continuing to probe the reasons for the pressure drop inside the ISS cabin. Specialists now believe it may have been caused by the unauthorized opening of a valve.
