MOSCOW. Jan 9 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Interior Ministry Forces are actively introducing future technical security means, Lieutenant General Vladimir Ryabinov, head of the Engineering Directorate of the Forces' General Staff, told Interfax-Military News Agency on Friday.

"The Interior Ministry Forces have recently started procuring contemporary security systems, such as the Bukva device, the Khorda system, and a number of others," Ryabinov said.

He clarified that the Bukva sentry service device is designed to receive an alarm signal from sensors, mounted on the site guarded, and alarm buttons, and then to transmit the signal to the control panel, and activate the sound and light alarm.

"The Khorda device will be used to improve security of weapon storage rooms in various units," Ryabinov said.

According to him, these devices are used to improve security of key governmental installations.

"Given the current terrorism threat, security becomes one of the primary objectives of our troops," the general noted.
