KHANKALA. Jan 13 (Interfax-AVN) - An administration security officer of the Chechen Interior Ministry, who was also member of a guerilla cell, headed by warlord Yunadi Turchaev, has been apprehended in Chechnya.
"An administration security officer of the Chechen Interior Ministry, who was also an active guerilla, has been disclosed and apprehended in the course of the joint operation, conducted by the North Caucasus Operational Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry Chief Directorate in the Southern Federal District, and the Chechen Interior Ministry Internal Security Directorate," Tamerlan Kazikhanov, head of the North Caucasus Operational Directorate press-service, told Interfax-Military News Agency on Tuesday.
It has already been established that the man arrested was a member of a guerilla cell, headed by warlord Yunadi Turchaev.
"It has also been determined that the arrested man transported guerillas, arms, and explosives by abusing his authority," Kazikhanov said.
