Russian govt assigns chemical protection area around chemical weapons storage site in Bryansk region

MOSCOW. Jan 19 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian government has assigned a chemical protection area around a chemical weapons storage site in the town of Pochep, Bryansk region, and specified a list of villages included, in accordance with the Federal Law "On the Destruction of Chemical Weapons".

The relevant statement of the governmental information department received by Interfax-Military News Agency on Monday reads that the area is 1,048sq.km, including the town of Pochep, villages of Ramasukha, Tatishchevo, Korostelyovo, Kotlyakovo, Mikhailovsky, Nikolayevsky, etc., all in all 30.
