NEW DELHI. Jan 19 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia is ready to assist India in modernizing its tanks, planes, artillery and other weaponry, an official of the Russian Defense Ministry press service told Interfax in New Delhi on Monday.
"In addition to the supply of military products, we should concentrate on modernizing Russian (Soviet) equipment supplied to India earlier. We believe only the producer can guarantee quality modernization of such complicated commodities as military equipment," he said.
