MOSCOW. Jan 20 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry is establishing a "hot line" in order to provide the public with information on servicemen, participating in anti-terrorist operations in the North Caucasus region, the Russian Defense Ministry press-service told Interfax-Military News Agency on Tuesday.
"The hot line has been established in order to provide state and public organizations, as well as separate citizens with information on servicemen, participating in anti-terrorist operations in the North Caucasus," a press-service official said.
According to him, the hot line has been established by the Central Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff. Moscow citizens may get information via this line by calling 296-86-68 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Moscow Time on weekdays.
