MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax-AVN) - A commission from the Space Forces HQ and the prosecutor's office of the Strategic Missile Force has inspected Plesetsk Space Center, chief of the Space Forces press service Colonel Alexei Kuznetsov told Interfax- Military News Agency Wednesday.
"The inspection team headed by Chief of Staff of the Space Forces Lieutenant General Vladimir Popovkin inspected the morale and psychological health of the personnel, as well as planning and guard service," he said.
According to Kuznetsov, the commission was also interested in the safety instruction skills of COs, logistics, and social protection of the personnel.
The team also ran an instruction course for all officers dealing with personnel. Kuznetsov said that the commission had appreciated the discipline in the unit.
There were no accidents at the space center in 2003, and evasion of military service was reduced by 27 percent. In addition, all 212 college graduates who came to the space center to serve as officers expressed their willingness to have a military career, the press service chief said.
