MOSCOW. Feb 5 (Interfax-AVN) - A commission of the Armed Forces Combat Training Directorate has been inspecting some district and armed service training centers since February 1, chief of the directorate Colonel General Alexander Skorodumov told Interfax-Military News Agency Thursday.
"The commission of our directorate aims to check combat training management in district training centers for compatibility with the requirements of the Defense Ministry, General Staff, and Land Forces Command. The commission also checks the facilities of the centers and living conditions of newly conscripted soldiers," he said.
According to him, the commission will go to the Far Eastern and Siberian Military Districts, to the training centers of the Air Force and Baltic Fleet shore-based forces. Skorodumov said that the commission headed by Lieutenant General Alexander Gerasimov had shortly inspected the training center of the Moscow Military District, so far the best in the army.
Inspection results on the military districts will be reported to Land Forces Commander-in-Chief Nikolai Kormiltsev who will then issue an order on the results of the inspection.
