MOSCOW. Feb 6 (Interfax-AVN) - The death toll from the explosion that occurred on the Moscow metro on Friday morning had reached 39 people as of 3:15 p.m. Moscow time (1215 GMT), Deputy Interior Minister Alexander Chekalin told reporters.
One hundred and twenty-two people, including one child, have been hospitalized, Chekalin said. Sixteen of the victims are listed in serious condition, he said.
Ninety-eight of the people injured in the blast have been identified, Chekalin said.
