MOSCOW. Feb 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia has notified the U.S. that it is conducting strategic command post exercises, which is envisioned by the START I treaty, First Deputy Chief of Staff Colonel General Yury Baluyevsky told the press on Tuesday.
"Russia must notify its partners on any movements of its strategic forces in line with its obligations. Russia has honored and will honor them," he said.
He added that "Russia has not received any statements from the U.S. about any violations in the course of the strategic command post exercises that are being conducted."
