Russian Control Systems Agency to boost commercial output by 12 percent in 2004

MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax-AVN) - Enterprises of the Russian Control Systems Agency are planning to boost commercial output by 12 percent this year, the agency's director general Gennady Kozlov said on Tuesday.

"We have outlined parameters of the industry's development for 2004. In particular, commercial output is expected to grow by 12 percent and individual productivity by 12 percent, while the number of personnel will be preserved at the current level (of 384,000 people - Interfax-AVN)," Kozlov told a session of the agency's board devoted to results of the agency's activity in 2003 and goals for 2004.

The director general recalled that the target commercial output growth for 2003 amounted to 10 percent. However real growth reached 19.3 percent.

The Control Systems Agency consists of 743 organizations and enterprises, including 188 state-owned unitary enterprises and 555 open joint-stock societies.

Ten integrated holding companies operate within the agency, while 12 others are to be established soon.
