TBILISI. April 5 (Interfax-AVN) - Georgia will present a document on its individual partnership with NATO at the alliance's next summit this summer, Defense Minister Gela Bezhuashvili said on Monday.
Experts of the defense and foreign ministries have been working on the document at the NATO headquarters for the past ten days, he said. The Georgian government will discuss the document later in the day.
A Georgian state delegation led by President Mikhail Saakashvili will go to Brussels on Tuesday for negotiations on Georgia-EU integration and meetings with NATO officials.
"A meeting with the NATO Secretary General is planned and a meeting in the 26+1 format - 26 representatives of NATO member countries and the Georgian delegation led by the president - will be held to discuss the Georgia-NATO individual partnership plan," Bezhuashvili said.
