Launch of cargo spaceship to ISS postponed

BAIKONUR. June 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The launch of a Soyuz-U vehicle which is scheduled to deliver cargo to the International Space Station on a Progress M-50 cargo spaceship has been postponed from late July until August 11, a source in the Baikonur Federal Space Center told Interfax on Friday.

"The launch has been put off because of the failure to keep up with the schedule for manufacturing the spaceship," he said. Preparations for the launch usually take about six weeks, the source said. Progress M-50 will be delivered to Baikonur at the end of June, he said.
