MOSCOW. July 16 (Interfax-AVN) - The RRJ Russian Regional Jet program will be the hit of the Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company's exposition at Farnborough-2004 international aerospace show to be held July 19-25, 2004, in Great Britain.
"The program will be the center of our exposition. We will demonstrate a full-scale mock-up of the passenger cabin (five aisles) of the new regional airliner at the international aerospace show for the first time," reads Sukhoi's press release, delivered to Interfax-Military News Agency Friday.
This is going to be a new step on the road of the RRJ promotion into the international market, reads the press release.
It also states that "this year's goal of Sukhoi's participation in the exhibition at Farnborough is to demonstrate the whole spectrum of the company's products and services in a bid to further cooperation with international aviation corporations."
The demonstration by Sukhoi, which will act as an integral part of the Russian exhibition at the show, will include, also, other aircraft of the SU make. Among these will be the multi-role SU-30MKK and SU-30MKI Flanker aircraft, the ship-borne SU-32 fighter, the SU-39 attack aircraft, and the SU-80 cargo/passenger aircraft. The exposition will also feature models and mock-ups of air-launched missiles, developed by the Vympel and Raduga design bureaus.
"We expect the participants in the air show to be interested with our products, and hope to hold meetings with our traditional and potential business partners," reads the press release.
