Russia, Germany to sign additional document on combating terrorism

SOCHI. Aug 24 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia and Germany are likely to expand cooperation in opposing terrorism when the leaders of the two countries meet in Hamburg in September.

This issue was discussed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin in Sochi on Tuesday.

Lavrov said that agreements on youth exchanges are also being drafted for the meeting.

In addition, consultations will be held between ten German and ten Russian key ministers, he said.

Lavrov said he hopes that the Russian-German consultations "will bring about constructive results."
