MOSCOW. Aug 25 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) is working together with other Russian law enforcement and security agencies within an inter-departmental commission investigating the crash of two Russian airliners in the Tula and Rostov regions on Tuesday night, an FSB spokesman told Interfax on Wednesday.
"It is so far too early to talk about any scenarios of the incident, and work is going on to analyze all the circumstances of the incident," he said.
FSB officials are working together with officers from the prosecution service, the Interior Ministry, and other agencies, he said.
According to the FSB information, a TU-154 Careless airliner left Moscow's Domodedovo airport for Sochi at 9:25 p.m. Moscow time (1725 GMT) on Tuesday, and air traffic controllers lost radio contact with it at 11:04 p.m. Moscow time (1904 GMT). A TU- 134 Crusty plane left the same airport for Volgograd at 10:31 p.m. Moscow time (1831 GMT), and radio contact with it was lost at 10:56 p.m. Moscow time (1856 GMT).
