Thirty-five bodies found at plane crash site in Rostov region

GLUBOKY (Rostov Region). Aug 26 (Interfax-South) - Thirty- five bodies and also five parts of bodies had been found at the crash site of a Siberia Airlines TU-154 Careless plane in the Rostov region by Thursday morning, aide to the regional emergency department chief Natalya Vlasenko told Interfax.

Rescuers resumed retrieving the victims' remains from the plane's fuselage on Thursday morning, she said.

Two Russian planes carrying a total of 89 passengers crashed nearly simultaneously at about 11:00 p.m. Moscow time (1900 GMT) on Tuesday night.

The TU-154 flying from Moscow to Sochi carried 46 people, including 38 passengers and 8 crewmembers. It fell in the Rostov region.

A Volga-Aviaexpress TU-134 Crusty travelling from Moscow to Volgograd and carrying 43 people, including 35 passengers and 8 crewmembers, crashed in the Tula region.
