GLUBOKY, Rostov Region. Aug 27 (Interfax-AVN) - The government commission investigating the two Tuesday night air crashes is checking, among other things, reports that none of the relatives of a woman passenger by the name of Jabrailova have inquired about her after the TU-154 Careless airliner crashed in the Rostov region, said Transport Minister Igor Levitin, who heads the state commission investigating the air crashes.
"We are now checking on all possible scenarios for this tragedy, including information that none of the relatives of TU- 154 passenger Jabrailova have been looking for her," Levitin told reporters on Thursday.
Responding to questions, he said the authorities do not have any clues on the woman's possible involvement in terrorist activities.
"We do not have any evidence that she was a terrorist," he said.
A TU-154 on a Moscow-Sochi flight and a TU-134 Crusty en route to Volgograd crashed within minutes of each other after flying out of Moscow's Domodedovo airport overnight to Wednesday. The death toll from the two incidents stands at 90.
