MOSCOW. Sept 2 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Interior Ministry's interdepartmental guard department will shift attention from amusement centers to social facilities, department head Mikhail Sukhodolsky told a Thursday news conference in Moscow.
"We will reduce the number of patrols in restaurants and casinos, and move over to facilities, which are vital for the city," Sukhodolsky said. The number of detention groups will be enlarged. About 20,000 servicemen of the interdepartmental guard service are daily patrolling Moscow and preventing up to 20 crimes a day.
