SEVASTOPOL. Sept 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian Navy commander Ihor Knyaz and Israeli Deputy Defense Minister Zeev Boim held a meeting in Sevatopol on Monday to discuss issues related to countering international terrorism.
Boim, who is heading an Israeli military delegation, was in Sevastopol for two days as part of an official visit to Ukraine, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's press service said.
Knyaz briefed Boim on the operation of the Blackseafor, the Black Sea Naval Cooperation Task Force, whose functions include fighting terrorism.
The two men tentatively agreed that an Israeli Navy ship would pay a friendly visit to Ukraine and that the navy commanders-in-chief would meet.
